I just put up a new post today, titled "FAQ for vision improvement by Hormetism (http://gettingstronger.org/2016/03/faq-for-vision-improvement-by-hormetism/)".  I see many of the same questions and concerns being raised again and again -- both on this forum and in personal correspondence.  And I've learned a lot in reading your comments here about what works and what doesn't, what is confusing, and what is effective and what is frustrating.

So it made sense to roll it all into a simple, clear set of guidelines that can be used as "a starting point".  My intent was not to address every nuance and issue, but to hit the high points and summarize what I believe to be best practices.  Hope it helps. I may refine and rewrite it to improve clarity or correct errors, so I welcome further questions, comments and suggestions.

some ideas I developed , even simpler for beginners :

print pushing simplified :

if you can read clearly at 30 centimetres,
push the material back to 31 cetimetres.
then 32 centimetres.

when it clears up, go to 33 centimetres.
then 34 centimetres.

etc.
you get the idea.

if you pushed too far, and began reading at 40 centimetres, this is too much.

notice it blur and undestand the eye is trying to focus like a digital camera that is out of focus.

never wear a minus lens for close up,
just always be on the edge of the blur,
only use a prescirption as strong as needed . (-4 for loooking at the moon, -2 for walking down the street, no glasses for close up, as examples,)
