Title: The Engineer - Optometrist, and Prevention Truth.
Post by: OtisBrown on April 02, 2016, 10:26:04 AM

Most people are either engineers, or optometrists.  It is a rare combination to have a Engineer, describe the minus, as something you should
avoid, and, indeed, part of this -1/2 diopters per year, that you get into IF YOU EVEN START WEARING IT.

You will find, "The Progression of Myopia" here, by Dr. Medina.

This is indeed a technical discussion.  I do not know your profession, but I am an engineer, on this topic.

It is rare for an OD to admit, to that -1/2 diopter per year, and  show PROOF for it.  It is indeed more serious, that
he says that a strong minus, "opens the loop" thus guaranteeing that your vision will get very, bad.

This is they type of education I would I had been offered - but it never happened.

That is the only reason our vision is lost.
