Hi,
I suddenly got a lot of floaters. Got my retina checked.everything is fine. Has it happened to anyone? Do they go away ? Even in 6 months time?

Search for floaters in this forum and you will see many results. I got my first floaters when my myopia was established for about a year at 16 and wore contact lenses. I suspect myopia, reading with minus glasses and thus overheating the eye chamber, and frequent inflammations of the eye due to the contact lenses' cleaning solution. Mainly floaters don;t go away and we get used to them even if we don't want them to exist!
I am trying tayrine suggested from earthclininc for some weeks. My floaters haven't vanished. Maybe I believe although that they have become more transparent. I have also tried beetroot with no result.
Heat can degenerate hyaluronic acid as well as smoking and too much artificial vitamin c.

Sorry to read that Hardliner. From the time I started plus lenses and vision rehab (years ago) I didn't developed another one. Eliminating all myopic stress is important. Also in this forum grape seed extract is suggested as a very powerful antioxidant that may help prevention.

I was 20/15 with R:-2,15D L:-2D and after 2,5 or about 3 years I can see 20/20 although my right eye has still some diplopia and is about 20/30 to 20/40.
