Title: Changing Body Temperature Set Point
Post by: Ultra Magnus on October 21, 2011, 01:55:49 PM
I have a case of hypothyroidism which makes it very difficult to lose fat and build muscle, and function optimally. Most of my hormones are nowhere near optimal. There is a theory that raising basal body temperature will fix it. My body temperature is always low. Would anyone have any ideas on how to increase the body's temperature set point? Would raising and maintaining an optimal temperature everyday with clothes, and an external heating source do anything?
