Title: My talk at AHS 2013 in Atlanta on August 17
Post by: Todd Becker on July 07, 2013, 08:29:32 PM
I will be giving a talk at this year's Ancestral Health Society annual conference.  The meeting this year is in Atlanta, and promises to be great.

The title of my talk is "The case against nutritional supplements".  I think this topic should be of interest to many of you.
The talk is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 17

Nassim Nicolas Taleb will be giving a keynote speech entitled: "Antifragile: The Importance of Second Order Effects".  I'm excited about this because I think Taleb's concept of antifragility is a beautiful extension of the idea of hormesis, and he shares much of my skepticism about modern medicine and dietary practices.

Here are links to the AHS conference registration information, and detailed program and conference schedule:

I've just posted a book review of Antifragile (http://gettingstronger.org/2013/07/antifragile/) on the main blog.

If any of you plan to attend AHS 2013, please leave a note here.  Maybe we can meet up!

I've now posted the slides from my talk, and will upload the video in a few weeks once the organizers make them available:
