Some botanic therapies presented in this documentary are easily found as teas or dietary supplements as Cascara Sagrada in the Hoxsey Therapy, Larrea Tridentata ("In 2005, Health Canada issued a warning to consumers to avoid using the leaves of Larrea species because of the risk of damage to the liver and kidneys"), Catharanthus roseus, commonly known as the Madagascar periwinkle or rosy periwinkle especially good for treating leukemia.

" The substances vinblastine and vincristine extracted from the plant are used in the treatment of leukemia [15] and Hodgkin's lymphoma."
