Video discussing reasonable objective success.
« on: July 06, 2016, 09:13:55 AM »
We often here the word, "PERFECT".  That is the worst idea.  I always say, self-measured, OBJECTIVE. By this
I mean, reading the 20/40 line, yourself, at home, and over several weeks. No OD has any interest in any of this.

So - people who report that they have a -1.5 D, and wonder where to start, or define success, should watch this
video.
Personally, if I check my own Snellen, and read the 20/40 line, I would STOP WEARING A MINUS LENS.
(I would buy one for $9, and it would remain in my car.)
I can not give better advice than that.

Ever try to negotiate "help" from an OD, (at $200 per hour)?

Do not bother.  Get your own Snellen, and test lenses.  (I hope you are close to 20/40).

The arrogance of the OD - is beyond belief.

They believe that -2 D they prescribed was PERFECT.  They feel you are stupid, and know nothing.  They
have decided that NO ONE EVER GETS OUT OF 20/40, OR -1 DIOTPER.

Now - do you trust them - or  do you trust yourself?
