I have myopia btw

1. I look at a word at distance (blurry, but i can still read it)
2. I look at the blurry word,  i flex/control my ciliary muscle so that the word becomes a bit more blurry.
3. Now i relax my ciliary muscle and i see how the word becomes clearer.
4. I focus really hard and i see how the word goes from blurry to clear or just slightly blurry.
5. Repeat 2-4
6. Sometimes the word becomes sharp so i can increase the distance.

Is this active focus?

I would help if you could supply the distance that you are doing this.  Is it 20 inches (50 cm)?
I would also suggest getting a Snellen, since I do this checking at 20 feet, with my Snellen.
Obviously, Jake should provide you with a complete definition of active-focus.
Enjoy,

Exercise distance :  120 - 140 cm right now

Snellen :                  Left 20/50     Right 20/40

I think i will do this exercise for 1 month and check the snellen chart every day.
If no improvements after 1 month i will do print pushing
