Obtaining Internet Glasses.
« on: March 12, 2013, 11:31:43 AM »
Dear Friends,
I have a very hard time getting the "prescription" in need and want.  Tragically, I can not get a "reduced" prescription, nor can I can any meaningful information on prevention.  No prevention information is ever VOLUNTEERED to me.  I think that Todd had the same experience.  Only after he got information from pilot Brian Severson did the idea of wearing a plus for prevention "click".  This thread will be about YOU checking your PD, your own Snellen, your current prescription, and other difficult situations - you might encounter with different ODs.  Some ODs are supportive - but most are not - as these remarks will show.

Here are some remarks by Alex Frauenfeld on this critical topic.  I strongly recommend working with Alex if you need professional help in clearing your distant vision back to normal.

Thanks, Alex!

Since this thread is about obtaining glasses on the internet, here is a link to where you can get them without a prescription from an optometrist.

Hi John,

If you decided to order your glasses on-line - here is how you measure your own PD.

Thank you for posting that, Otis. The video refers to another website that sells glasses without an official prescription.
