My interview with Alex Frauenfeld
« on: November 18, 2013, 01:34:17 PM »
I had the pleasure last week to be interviewed by Alex Frauenfeld, a behavioral opthamologist who leads the Frauenfeld clinic in Austria:

Many of you know of Alex because you frequent both his site and mine.  For over 40 years, his vision clinic has helped hundreds of patients improve eyesight while reducing or eliminating their dependence on glasses and contact lenses. His approach of "targeted focal stimulus", variation in focusing, and the use differential prescriptions to rehabilitate the eye away from myopia closely mirrors the methods I advocate in this blog.

In addition to local patients, he consults with patients around the globe via the Web, and provides good advice also through his "free" blog.   Take a look at his "Four Pillars" to get some perspective on his approach:

Alex Frauenfeld's website is great.   Here is one of the clearest explanations I've seen for myopia and hyperopia, what steps to take to regain normal eyesight, and how to track your progress:

Todd,

I read the interview, you shared an interesting perspective on your answers. Thank you again for this website.

Btw, are you moving the website? Because, as of today, 12/01/2013, I looked at your website and all the articles are gone. Instead of the articles you posted, it just says NOT FOUND.

Anyways, it was good to read your interview.

Chris
