increasing height?
« on: December 22, 2013, 03:35:18 AM »
hi i wonder if hormesis could be effective in growing taller. many many many people out there, want to grow taller. myself i'm already 6 ft 5  :o (i'm dutch and belgian lol) but i used to be a little interested in growing taller a few years back

i've read that jumping and carefully applied stress to the bones could POSSIBLY increase your height. and something about creating microfractures and stuff.  i'm not sure but i wonder if other people on this forum have some experience with growing taller information/methods, etc.

just some brain food to get started

Well thank you for sharing your thoughts on this, I might share it to my little brother as it is a little late for my case. My only knowledge about growing taller is drinking milk, taking some calcium, and yeah, jumping. Other than that, people who have their epiphyseal plates closed (people older than 18-21) and still grow tall or wider bones aren't normal anymore.
