will this work for regression after lasik?
« on: April 06, 2014, 08:12:15 PM »
Hey guys,

I had laser eye surgery (prk) 5 years ago, my vision has regressed about -1.5D from 20/15 within these 5 years.
Will this method work for me? Anyone out there with the same situation that has tried this?

I tried plus lenses for all near work and noticed my vision was getting worse and had a bit of a strain so i stopped. (+1 lenses).

Appreciate the help.

Thanks.

You can go back and ask for a second, "trim" Lasik, adjustment, or you can get a minus lens for full time wear.

Although Otis does include a link to the Frauenfled site, I want to specifically point to his page on retinal detachment risk where he discusses laser eye surgery.

Going for more surgery every five years does nothing to stop eye elongation.
